   To Whom It May Concern,

   Questions Regarding the Café Marcala Protected Origen Program

   My name is Florian Termin I am a student studying international studies at the University of California at Irvine. I’m currently writing a research paper on the efficacy of protected origin (Denominación de Origen) labeling of Cafe Marcala. I noticed Peregrine Coffee sells Marcala Coffee. I’m interested to know what attracted your company to Marcalan coffee and whether you’d purchased coffee in that region before the Protected Origen initiative started in 2005 or began buying it as a consequence of the program’s establishment? Did the Protected Origen Program and the quality it promised make it a more attractive coffee to buy? I’d greatly appreciate any information you might have on this.
