cup of excellence - el salvador la laguna estate
On grinding and brewing, the aromatics are floral and of baking spices. In the cup, this is a big coffee with a lot of flavor. The complex, winey acidity is perfectly balanced with exceptional structure and body. The thick and creamy mouthfeel carries the berry/fruit acidity straight through the cup. And as it cools, subtle hints of tart raspberries or pomegranate are drawn out. This is a supremely elegant and sophisticated combination of flavors with a nice dark tone running through the middle. The finish is like a slow trip down a long, winding road. Fabulous. Jury Descriptions: strong aroma (12), Very balanced (13), very clean and sweet (16), floral (11), caramel (9), dried fruit (6), red raspberry (6), champagne (5), perfume (4), full and creamy body (14), juicy (14), long finish (7), improved as it cooled (11). Please Note: The number that appears in brackets next to a description it indicates the number of jurors that agreed with that particular description. 250g. Whole Bean.

single origin - brazil minas gerais cerrado
A surprisingly fickle bean that challenges the roaster! When handled properly and with a delicate touch, fabulous nutty-chocolate flavors emerge – with almonds and peanuts being predominant. There are hints of citrus, caramel and spices. This balanced and bright cup has a rich, smooth and satiny mouthfeel, and finishes long and clean. We are very proud of our House Coffee -- it a crowd-pleasing, not-too-demanding, first-cup-in-the-morning coffee. Whole Bean. 300g/10.5oz.
$12.00 Add:
single origin - india monsooned malabar aa
This new crop from the Western Ghats of India has the typical notes one comes to expect from a Monsooned bean: the darker roast bittersweet tones that mingle with chocolate, leather and tobacco. What is different about this low acidity Monsooned bean is an elegance in the cup, with a clean and crisp, smooth finish. Superb. Whole Bean. 250g/8.8oz.
$15.00 Add:
single origin - colombia decaf
The key to good decaf is starting with a superior bean! This Colombian is of the highest quality and managed expertly through the German, strictly-controlled MC decaf process. The result is phenomenal. Chocolate, coffee, deep flavors. Luxuriously silky in your mouth. Better than every non-decaf on shelves today. Whole Bean. 250g/8.8oz
$13.00 Add:

peregrinations: monthly coffee club
If you are really curious about all the different ways a cup of coffee can taste, join Peregrine Coffee on a round-the-world tour! The globe is filled with small coffee growers, many of whom produce incredible coffee in amounts too small to reach most markets. Peregrine will bring these beans to you. The coffees you receive each month will be roaster's choice -- whatever we find to be the most interesting beans available from the part of the world where the crop is in season -- beans that are flavorful, unusual (maybe even odd) and definitely unlike anything you will find on local shelves! Each month for six months, we will send you a bag of unique whole bean. Postage included.
